An Update from Me

I honestly didn't expect to be writing this. I recently learned that my landlord is selling the space, and I had to make a decision much faster than I ever thought I would. Because of that, Stitch Cafe's current storefront will be closing this Wednesday. I know this feels sudden and out of nowhere. It feels that way to me too. The last two years have been some of the hardest and most rewarding years of my life. There were construction delays, unexpected expenses, and challenges I never saw coming, but what kept me going was this community. Every person who came in to knit, crochet, take a class, work on a project, or simply share a cup of coffee helped make Stitch Cafe what it is. Right now, I'm doing everything I can to find a path forward. I've started a GoFundMe to help with moving and relocation costs so that Stitch Cafe has a chance to continue in a new home. Thank you for supporting this dream, especially when things haven't been easy. I'm heartbroken, but I'm not ready to give up yet.
